PRIVACY POLICY

Match Buyer Ltd., located at 60 Montrose Avenue, Dominion House N-9932 Nassau, Bahamas ("Matchbuyer" or "we" or "us" or "our") takes privacy very seriously. When using our services you trust us in providing us information about yourself. We collect it to enrich the services we provide to you and to all of our users. We recognize that you as our customer, visitor, user want to know what information we collect and how we use it. That is why we provide this Privacy Notice to help you understand and make an informed decision about whether you want to use or continue using our websites (“Sites”), our mobile and desktop applications, our other properties and/or our related services (collectively known as the "Services," or, each individually, a "Service"). Matchbuyer respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.

This is our Privacy Policy and we will comply with it, as well as applicable U.S. privacy law, when we gather and use information from users of the Services. For you to understand what we do with the information we collect from you please read this Privacy Policy diligently.

§ 1

Collection of Information

Information collected from you will vary, depending on how you access, visit, use or otherwise take advantage of the Services and what information you may choose to provide to us (whether through email or otherwise).

2.1. Information you provide

When using the Services, you may provide Personal Information a potential transaction or promotion. “Personal Information” means individually identifiable information about you, such as name (first and last name), address, phone number, email and details around that we collect online or otherwise through the Sites, including, but not limited to, your full name, a user name and password, email address, phone number, physical address, or, for certain products or services, your social security number, or financial information, and for certain e-commerce transactions your credit card information (if applicable). Information in a form that is aggregated with other information so as not to be reasonably identifiable with you, and information in a form that otherwise is detached, combined, organized, segmented, modified or processed so as not to be reasonably capable of being associated with you, will not be considered Personal Information, and will not be restricted by this Privacy Policy as to use, sharing or otherwise. If you access, visit, use or otherwise take advantage of certain of our Services, or certain of our tools, Sites or Site functionality, we may receive or you may be asked to provide Personal Information. For certain Professionals, you may also be requested to provide your license ID number Whenever we ask for Personal Information, we strive to provide a link to this Privacy Policy to help you understand how Personal Information will be used before you decide whether to disclose it.

At any time you may opt out from providing us with Personal Information, but then you may not be able to fully take advantage of certain features of our Sites and we may not be able to provide you with certain requested information or Services.

2.2. Cookies

Cookies are bits of electronic information that can be transferred to your computer or other electronic device to uniquely identify your browser. Making use of the Sites or Services, we may place one or more cookies on your computer or other electronic device. We may use cookies to connect your activity on the Sites and Services with other information we store about you in your account profile or your prior interactions on the Services to, for example, store your preferences. The use of cookies helps us improve the quality of the Sites and Services, by identifying information which is most interesting to you, tracking trends, measuring the effectiveness of advertising, or storing information you may want to retrieve on a regular basis. At any time, you may adjust settings on your browser to refuse cookies according to the instructions related to your browser. However, if you choose to disable cookies, many of the free features and Services will not operate properly.

2.3. Web beacons

Also, the pages on the Sites may include Web beacons or pixels, which are electronic files to count users who have visited that page, to track activity over time and across different Web sites, to identify certain cookies on the computer or other electronic device accessing that page, or to collect other related information, and this information may be associated with your unique browser, device identifier, or Internet Protocol address. We may, for example, implement a pixel on the pages of the Services where you view a certain advertisement so that we can track whether you visit a Web site associated with that advertisement at a later time.

2.4. Third-party Cookies and Web beacons

We work with service providers and advertising networks to track and manage cookie information and your activities while you're using the Services and your online activities over time and across different websites and devices. For example, third-parties may use cookies to deliver advertisements to you based on your visit to the Sites. For additional information, please refer to the section below entitled, "Behavioral Advertising" (see section 6 below).

You may opt-out of cookie tracking and analysis from any of these service providers and advertising networks by opting out of collection of information (see section 7).

Some pages of the Sites may use third-party Web beacons from Yahoo! In addition to our use of the data to analyze visitor activity on the Services, Yahoo! may use anonymous information about your visit in order to improve its products and services and to provide advertisements about goods and services that may be of interest to you.
We have implemented Google Analytics remarketing, which tracks and manages cookie information so that we and third-party service providers can better deliver advertisements that are relevant and useful to you on the Services and various websites across the Internet. We have also implemented Google Analytics display network impression reporting to better understand how ad impressions and ad services are related to visits to our sites.

You can customize ads or opt out of these services using the Google Ads Settings.

2.5. Mobile Device and Mobile Browser

You may adjust settings on your mobile device and mobile browser regarding cookies and sharing of certain information, such as your mobile device model or the language your mobile device uses, by adjusting the privacy and security settings on your mobile device. Please refer to the instructions provided by your mobile service provider or mobile device manufacturer.

2.6. Usage logs

When you use the Services, your computer or other electronic device communicates a variety of information to computer servers, including the existence of cookies, your Internet Protocol address, and information about your browser program. We also create a record of what information you are requesting, such as the page or subject areas you're visiting.

2.6. Calls

Calls to Matchbuyer or to third parties through Matchbuyer may be recorded or monitored for quality assurance and customer service purposes. If a call is recorded between you and a third party, it will be deemed private information of both you and the third party, and may be released to either of you.

2.7. Social Networks

If you use the social networking connection functions offered through the Services, we may access all of your social network profile information that you have made available to be shared and to use it in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Please refer to the instructions governing your social network account to manage the information that is shared through your account.

§ 3

Information Sharing Disclosure – How is my Information Used and Shared

The use of Personal Information depends on the context in which it is collected. Therefore, pay special attention to the categories below that relate to the features of the Sites that you wish to utilize.

In general, Matchbuyer uses the information collected from you to communicate with you and operate our Sites and Services. Matchbuyer also uses this information to respond to your requests and present you with advertising ourselves or from our Partners or associated advertisers that we believe will be of interest or useful to you.

Your privacy is important and we are committed to protecting Personal Information that identifies you personally, where you have chosen to keep it private. We may share Personal Information with your affirmative consent or under the following circumstances or understandings.

Certain features, products or services on or of our Sites may seek or obtain Personal Information from or about you, which may be used in the following ways:

3.1. Consent

When you consent or direct Matchbuyer to share the Personal Information. We may also share this information with others to fulfill your request or to facilitate your use of the information, features, products or Services, or as otherwise outlined in this Privacy Policy. When sharing Personal Information in such a manner, we may use and share any registration information that you submit as set forth in section 3.7 below.

When sharing Personal Information in accordance with this Privacy Policy, we may also share your computer’s Internet Protocol (IP) address, identification number or location.

Special Messaging Consent.

By submitting a request or inquiry about (or a request or inquiry for information about), or a request or authorization to be contacted about, financial services, healthcare, travel, gaming, real estate-, moving-, neighborhood-, or home-related products, services, offerings, procedures, details or matters you are providing to Matchbuyer’s associated advertisers, lead customers (e.g., lead or referral service customers), subscribers and Professionals (each, a “Provider”), and to Matchbuyer, your consent to be contacted for marketing, informational and related purposes in connection with such request, authorization or inquiry by one or more Providers and by Matchbuyer by telephone device (including, but not limited to, being contacted on a recorded line and potentially by use of automated dialing systems and artificial or prerecorded voice messaging), email, mail or otherwise, based on the phone number, email address and/or other data you have provided. This consent applies even if your phone number, email address or other data is on a corporate, federal, State, local or other do-not-contact type of list or directory (such as the U.S. National Do Not Call Registry). You are not required to consent to receiving autodialer calls, or to otherwise provide this consent, as a condition of purchasing any products or services from Providers or Matchbuyer.

You agree that your submitted request, authorization or inquiry (as described above) acts as your electronic signature for this consent. You acknowledge that for text, SMS, calls and other electronic messages that message and data rates (for example, from your network provider) may apply.

You (whether you are a consumer, a Professional, a Provider or otherwise) consent to Matchbuyer (including any designee of Matchbuyer) contacting you in any manner consistent with information (including Personal Information) you have provided or we otherwise have pertaining to you or consistent with other instructions, requests, inquiries or consents that have been given by you or on your behalf (whether by way of this Privacy Policy or otherwise). If we determine we need consent from you we currently do not have (or are not sure we have), Matchbuyer (including any designee of Matchbuyer) may contact you by any available communication means to seek such consent.

Matchbuyer is not restricted as to information, including Personal Information, except as described in this Privacy Policy.

3.2. Service providers to Matchbuyer

When Matchbuyer hires a service provider to help operate the Services or our business, Matchbuyer may give access to Personal Information only as necessary to perform the service for Matchbuyer, and subject to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

3.3. Partners with whom we conduct business

1 For information, features, products and services marketed or offered to you jointly or on a coordinated basis by us and a third party, Personal Information may be shared with or independently gathered by the third party. Matchbuyer may therefore give business partners access to Personal Information only as necessary to offer Services with those business partners, and subject to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

2 You acknowledge that Matchbuyer will be free to use Personal Information to facilitate such information, features, products and services (or information about them) being made available to you via email, telemarketing, sms or direct mail prospecting and as otherwise outlined in this Privacy Policy, and you understand the third party may use the information in different ways.

Advertisement

3 We want our advertising to be as relevant and interesting as the other information you find on our Sites. With this in mind, we use all your information to show you relevant ads. We may share Personal Information with advertising, measurement or analytics partners based on your affirmative consent provided by accepting this Privacy Policy. We may also provide these partners with information about the reach and effectiveness of their advertising without providing information that personally identifies you, or if we have aggregated the information so that it does not personally identify you.

3.4. Leads and Referrals

1 If you participate in or inquire about any lead, referral or similar service we may offer:

We may use the information you submit, as well as other data we might have or obtain ourselves or from other sources (for example, based on or related to such information), to determine which of our participating Professional(s) may be willing, able and/or compatible to serve your needs or possible interests and to assist them or others in doing so. We may forward or share information relating to you, which may include such information as well as Personal Information obtained through our sign-up form or otherwise, to certain Professional(s), which may sometimes include multiple Professionals (such as in cases where a given Professional has a marketing or business relationship with one or more other Professionals and designates them to receive such information, or in cases where the nature of a product, service or feature offered on or through a Site is designed to involve participation by multiple Professionals). Those Professionals or their affiliates, contractors, advertisers, agents or other designees may use such information and contact you regarding your needs or possible interests, as may we ourselves. The following paragraph applies only to Professionals; others may not infer any commitments or assurances from such following paragraph.

3 Professionals. This paragraph applies only to Professionals, but does not apply to a Professional to the extent modified in a separate written agreement signed by an authorized officer of Matchbuyer, which agreements may be entered into by Matchbuyer in its sole discretion and without notice to others. Professionals might receive information from, or originating from, consumers seeking the Professional’s products or services or related information. These information submissions or related inquiries or leads might include, without limitation, Personal Information. Because protecting personal privacy is important, we require that Professionals treat data received from Matchbuyer consumers as if it was still on the Sites and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

3.5. Legal obligation or protection from harm

When Matchbuyer has a good faith belief that access, use, preservation or disclosure of the Personal Information is reasonably necessary to (a) satisfy any requirement of law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request, (b) enforce or investigate a potential violation of the Terms of Use, (c) detect, prevent, or otherwise respond to fraud, security or technical concerns, (d) support auditing and compliance functions, or (e) protect the rights, property, or safety of Matchbuyer, its users, or the public against harm.

3.6. Asset Transfer

If and when Matchbuyer is involved in a merger, acquisition, or any form of transfer or sale of some or all of its business, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding. Personal Information may be transferred along with the business.

3.7. Registration Information

2 The Personal Information you provide when you become a registered user or customer of one of the Sites is used primarily to help us customize or enhance your or others’ online experience, increase the convenience of accessing new or existing tools, products and services, and, if applicable, provide the information, features, products and/or services you purchase or request. This Personal Information may also be shared among the Sites to make use of the Sites more convenient by, for example, limiting the number of times you have to register with us. Your email address serves as a unique identifier in our record system, and together with your password is designed to help us prevent unauthorized access to information you choose to store on the Sites. The data you give us about your personal preferences and demographics (e.g., your age, ZIP code, occupation or the like), as well as other information we might have or obtain ourselves or from other sources (for example, based on or related to such data), may be used to help us offer content, advertisements, products, and services that we believe will be of interest to you. In addition, we may share this information, in aggregate or other protected form or under confidentiality terms, with our current and potential advertisers and service providers so that they, or we, can present and deliver advertisements more effectively. If you forget your password for any registered area of the Sites, we have an automated password recovery system, which can be accessed by clicking on the “Forgot Password?” link on the sign-in page.

3 Consumers: Unless you specify that you would prefer not to hear from us, we may use the email address and other information (including Personal Information) you provide at the time of registration to contact you for promotional or other purposes.

4 You may have promotional email communications terminated at any time by opting out through your member profile on the applicable Site, or by clicking on any “unsubscribe” link contained in a promotional email. Please be aware that opting out on one of our Sites, does not opt you out from any of our other Sites unless that option is specifically provided. If you would like to request to opt out with respect to all of the Sites please email [optout@matchbuyer.com] with your requests.

5 Professionals: This paragraph applies only to Professionals, but does not apply to a Professional to the extent modified in a separate written agreement signed by an authorized officer of Matchbuyer, which agreements may be entered into by Matchbuyer in its sole discretion and without notice to others. We may offer a newsletter, electronic flyer or similar material to keep Professionals abreast of the products and services on the Sites or other professional products and services. Information such as a Professional’s license number or personal financial information will not be shared with third parties except to complete a transaction or as outlined in this Privacy Policy. Additionally, information provided by Professionals for the purposes of offering the Professional’s products and services to others via one or more of the Sites will be shared with others, including consumers accessing or using one or more of the Sites. To the extent such information is necessary to offer such products and services it typically will be posted on the applicable Site(s). This may include, without limitation, the Professional’s full name, email address, license number, state of license, address, phone number, graphic images and any other data intended to help consumers identify or contact the Professional or related to the Professional’s products or services.

When you provide non-personal (public) information without identifying yourself, we will protect your personal identity as described above. If your account profile does not identify you personally, Matchbuyer won't reveal your identity to third parties except in accordance with this Privacy Policy. You should keep in mind that the information that you choose to provide in a public area of the Services (such as your profile page or the discussion forums) will not be protected by this Privacy Policy because you have made an active choice to make that information public. We are not responsible for any Personal Information you choose to submit in any public area of the Services.

§ 4

Email Management

You may receive emails from Matchbuyer or its Partners for a variety of reasons, including but not limited to [, research as well as matching services to guide users to services and products via advertisement and promotion that suit the user.. We respect your desire to manage email correspondence. If you have an account with Matchbuyer, you can select your preferences through your account settings. Also, you can manage your receipt of some types of communication by following the instructions included in the email we send you. Please note that, even if you unsubscribe from certain email correspondences, we may still need to email you with important transactional or administrative information.

§ 5

Behavioral Advertising

We may participate in behavioral advertising. This means that, for example, when you use the Services, we or third party service providers or advertisers may use cookies (that they collect or that we provide to them) or other similar technologies to collect information about your use of the Services (including mobile applications) or your online activities over time and across different websites. Collected information may include the content you view, the date and time that you view this content, and the Web site that referred you to the Services, and this information may be associated with your unique browser, device identifier, or Internet Protocol address. These practices help tailor advertisements that are relevant and useful to you. These tailored advertisements may appear on the Services or on other websites, applications or properties.

In addition, if you have provided your email address to us, we may use a scrambled, unreadable form (a hash) of your email address to deliver tailored advertisements to you on the Services or on other websites, including via Facebook’s Custom Audience Feature or other similar Facebook tools. You may opt-out of cookie tracking and analysis as described in section 7 below.

§ 6

Opting Out of Collection of Information by Third Parties

Matchbuyer's third-party ad servers, ad network providers, and third-party advertisers (the "Matchbuyer Ad Providers") may provide you with advertisements that you may see on the Services or on other affiliated websites. To improve the relevancy and help measure the effectiveness of such advertisements, the Matchbuyer Ad Providers may use cookies, Web beacons, clear .gifs or similar technologies. These are used to record users' activity, such as the pages visited, and to learn what types of information are of most interest to the users.

§ 7

Matchbuyer Ad Providers

Use of these technologies by Matchbuyer Ad Providers is subject to their own privacy policies and is not covered by our Privacy Policy. For more information regarding the choices you have about these technologies (such as opting-out), click here to learn about Matchbuyer Ad Providers participating in the Network Advertising Initiative, and click here to learn about the Matchbuyer Ad Providers participating in the Digital Advertising Alliance. The Network Advertising Initiative and Digital Advertising Alliance offer some centralized opt-out tools; otherwise you must visit each provider's website individually and opt out.

§ 8

Matchbuyer marketing service providers

If you do not want Matchbuyer and its marketing services providers to follow your usage of our Services via cookies and Web beacons, you can opt out of Cookies/Web beacons sending us an E-Mail to cookies@matchbuyer.com. Opting out of these services does not mean you will no longer receive online advertising. It does mean that the service from which you opted out will no longer deliver ads tailored to your Web preferences and usage patterns. Please note that, if you opt out and later delete your cookies, use a different browser, or use a different computer or other electronic device, you will need to renew your opt-out choices.

§ 9

Third-Party Websites

Throughout the Services, we may link to the websites of other companies and/or individuals. Further, certain functionalities on the Services may involve the distribution of your listing information to third-party websites. These third-party websites may collect Personal Information about users on those websites, and Matchbuyer's Privacy Policy does not extend to these external websites and third parties. Please refer directly to these third parties and websites regarding their privacy policies.

§ 10

Children Under the Age of 13

Our Sites are general audience Web sites and media. If you are under the age of 13 you should not register or provide information on our Sites. We do not collect Personal Information from any person we actually know is a child under the age of 13. If you have knowledge that a child under the age of 13 has submitted Personal Information to us, please email info@matchbuyer.com.

§ 11

Storage, Security and Retention of Information

You acknowledge that Personal Information will be processed and stored by Matchbuyer in databases hosted in the UK. Matchbuyer has taken reasonable steps to protect the information users share with us, including, but not limited to, setup of processes, equipment and software to avoid unauthorized access or disclosure of this information. No transmission of information via the Internet can be entirely secure, however, so please always use caution when submitting Personal Information.

Personal Information will be stored for as long as you have an active account with Matchbuyer and/or as long as needed to provide you with the Services, to comply with our legal, financial reporting, or compliance obligations, and to enforce this Privacy Policy.

Contacting Matchbuyer

You can access, update, and delete Personal Information you provide to Matchbuyer in your account profile by logging into your account or emailing us at info@matchbuyer.com. While we are ready to assist you in managing the Personal Information you provide to us, we cannot always delete records due to financial reporting, compliance, or other reasons.
